How to join Cadet Line Training Program in 2023

 

The Cadet Line Training Program is designed to train and qualify individuals to become commercial pilots for airlines. The program typically includes both ground school and flight training, and upon completion, graduates are guaranteed a position as a first officer (co-pilot) with an airline.

It is an integrated program for aspiring pilots to become commercial airline pilots. The program includes both ground school and flight training and on successful completion, the cadet will be offered a position as a first officer in the airline.

1. Cadet Line Training Program in Vietnam

To join the Cadet Line Training Program, you have to meet certain eligibility criteria and go through a selection process. The following are the general requirements for joining the program:

Cadet Line Training Program Requirement:

  1. 18 to 40 years of age

  2. Minimum height of 160cm (F) / 165cm (M)

  3. Good visual acuity of at least 6/60 without optical aid, correctable to 6/6 and not color blind.

  4. Curriculum vitae

  5. English proficiency level 4 or higher

  6. Passport copy (with at least 1-year validity)

  7. Criminal record (with at least 6 months validity)

  8. Completed high school education or higher

Documentary and Licensing requirements for Cadet Line Training

  1. Copy of Logbook

  2. IR certificate

  3. MCC certificate

  4. With an English proficiency certificate of ICAO level 4

  5. With a class 1 Medical Certificate recognized by the CAAV

  6. With a Type rating certificate recognized by the CAAV

  7. With a Frozen ATPL certificate recognized by the CAAV

  8. With a Valid Commercial Pilot License

  9. With a minimum total flight training time of 200 hours (Original and Copy of logbook)

Cadet Line Training Cost in Vietnam – The cost of the Cadet Line Training Program can vary depending on the type of training and location of the training center. However, according to the information available of the airline, the program typically includes an initial payment and training fee.

It’s hard to give an exact cost as the cost of the program can vary depending on the location of the training center and the type of aircraft used for training. This cost includes the cost of flight training, ground school, and other training materials.
